About Car Barn Automotive

Located at 538 N Pennsylvania Ave, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705, Car Barn Automotive operates as an auto repair shop serving Wilkes-Barre in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Wilkes-Barre, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Pennsylvania vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Car Barn Automotive at (570) 829-4717; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, car-barn-automotive.jany.io.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 53 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Wilkes-Barre and suggests consistent service.

Wilkes-Barre is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Wilkes-Barre peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. I came home to visit from NC and I had something hanging from underneath the car. It ended up being the cover for my oil. I called to get it repaired and they got me in next day. They were SO kind and they were very quick at repinning the piece for me. Thank you so much! My cousin recommended them and if I ever need anything done on my car when I’m visiting I will definitely be back.

Although I havent had them work on my car, I was very happy with the service i got. I was having a noise come from my car occasionally when turning right, gene took time out of his day to check it out, a good 30 minutes maybe but couldnt find anything under evaluation. Based off of that i certainly trust these guys and will take my car there in the future Thank you
